i connected my laptop and my home theatre system with a HDMI cable. Wat changes should i make in laptop so that i can view the video played from my home theatre system.
Well, you will need to change the input of the TV to HDMI. Then your laptop screen might flicker (give it a moment). If it's ready, it will either show a mirrored copy of your laptop screen or an extended desktop. If its in extended desktop (it pretends that its a screen on the right of your laptop, move your mouse to the right and go into the screen to use it), you will need to drag the movie or thing you are viewing over to the right. If Nothing shows up when you switch input, do the following: right clickpersonalizeDisplay Settingsselect 2and click one of the radio boxes (depending on if you want to extended or mirror)Click okyour done! Unless you requested an extra component to receive HDMI input in your laptop, most commonly you would only be able to output from the laptop.
