Because God is not real, obvious answer.
maybe because they don't feel so protected by God afterall it's a weapon and weapons show weakness I mean, they'll lie for each other, what else you think they do ?!?
Lightning rods or not, if God desires to gentle you up with a splash lightning your gonna get it. It probably secure practices against those random strike not controlled by potential of God that they are in contact approximately.
It does happen, and is not country-specific. It isn't guide-dog specific either; it happens with all sorts of service dogs. Muslim religious leaders have taken a position that so long as the Muslim person does not touch the dog, or at least bathes after contact with the dog, particularly with saliva, that they SHOULD carry passengers with service animals and it is not a violation of religious laws. I recently read a newspaper story of a young Muslim man who had just received a guide dog. This dog was not only permitted to live in his house, but was permitted to enter his Mosque. The dog may not be in the room with worshipers during prayers, but is otherwise welcome and accepted in the public areas of the Mosque. This case is a wonderful example of compromise that meets the needs of both parties. I am not Muslim, but my limited understanding of the faith is that working dogs, including herding dogs and service dogs are viewed differently than pet dogs. Working dogs are accepted, but generally we think of working dogs as outdoor dogs. The use of service dogs requires a little adjustment in attitudes about where a working dog might be. Generally speaking, of the cases where the outcome has been made public, the taxi driver or company has been fined when this occurs. The big problem is it is hard for the guide dog handler to identify which taxi refused to carry them because they couldn't see them. The moral of this story is: if you see someone refusing service to a person because of a guide dog, make your observations and approach the person and offer to share what you observed and to be a witness if needed.
this is that quote in hilarious picture form
