Just search the internet and local dealers for sales. Personally I don't put much stock in a lot of fancy gear. I paid $350 for a nice quiet good fitting helmet. And I happened to find a great leather jacket on sale for $200, original price $650. I paid full price for a breathable material summer riding jacket. Other than that I just happen to wear boots anyway, am in the market for street boots that are built a lot like motocross boots or motocross boots that are not so gaudy, but haven't found anything I like yet. I like the plastic armored gloves but haven't found a pair I like yet. Special motorcycle pants are kind of gay. I have a set of very nice paper fabric rain gear the stows very small, still $100 on sale but when you need it you would pay much more. All this I have accumulated over 40 years of riding. Kind of silly to go out and blow all your money at once on quick decisions. I buy motorcycle clothes to be more comfortable on the ride. I don't believe this stuff is going to save my life, just save in Dr bills and hospital time if and when **** happens. So far almost 40 years of riding with no incident on pavement, and nothing that required medical attention in the dirt. You already have the basics, slow down and shop for exactly what you want at a very attractive price.
