I own a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500. The trailer harness is rusted and I was wondering if I could replace that with a new one from autozone? Any suggestions?

If you're talkin about the harness on the truck NAPA sells a kit that just plugs into the stock wireing harness.there's a connector up behind the bumper and it just snaps in takes about 10-15 min sts about $25.00
