Question:

Reupholstering leather chair?

Over the years the foam in my leather chair has lost its ability to to firmly support someone. Replacing the foam is not a DIY endeavour. Are there any reupholsters in the Toronto area who can do something like this at a reasonable cost? The ones I have contacted are too pricey.

Answer:

Hi pc, I would suggest if you have any local Upholstery Schools ( colleges Night Classes etc ) in your area you may want to call them and inquire of any available help with your chair cushion. Many times the students in class are willing to replace and repair as part of the upholstery classes. Which because they are students, this repair may cost you a lot less. Good Luck!
