hi,i am getting a new horse this Thursday, there are no rugss tack or anything like that included, so i need to find a good make of a rug in uk and i need a head collar so please could you help me ! any awnser appreciated thanks !
hey. yay fur yu! getting yur horse! :D um a good make of rug i think are weatherbeeta and amigo for turnout rugs coz they are nice and warm and my horse hasnt yet ripped hers! miracle! and the amigo rugs arent riduculusly expensive. like ?50 for a decent heavy turnout. headcollars are easy go for the cheapest now in a nice colour and then get more when yu neeed then. they gather in the back of the tack room believe me. :D good luck with yur new horse. xx
Chris Evans, optimal certainly. I under no circumstances enjoyed Wogan's featuring style (yet I even have been given jumped on from an surprising good if I ever suggested so, so I stored quiet). Evans made me chortle better in the 1st 2 days than Wogan did in the suitable ten years. i in my view hear to the Breakfast coach now as against offer up after 5 minutes and placed a CD on.
I'm not in the UK, but I just wanted to add my advice: Spend the extra money on a halter with leather over the poll, if not an all-leather halter. Even if you're not turning out in a halter, the leather won't damage your horse if it should get caught up in something or freaks out when tied when you tack up. Also, you need to get the right-sized blanket, which means you need to measure him/her. If the tack shop is going to be open when you bring him/her home, stop there on the way home if he/she is going to need it right away and measure then and there and try stuff on in the trailer (travel in either a stock trailer or a two-horse with the middle divider removed, or a slant-load).
i have given up on rugging my pony becuase she rips them so much! native breed and she's unclipped so she really doesn't need it anyway. a horse's own coat is much better than a rug so if they're not excessivly clipped they're probably okay. if not, decathalon! ?15 turn out rug, hasn't ripped, does the job totally fine! okay it wont last forever but for now, why not. horsewear ireland are good though. bit more costly but they're really nice rugs. if you;re anything like me before long you'll have a rug for every occasion. headcoller, oh goodness, i swear they breed i have so many, infact I think there's one under my feet now. oh yes there is and it's a horsewear ireland one. i've lost count of how many i have, cheap ones do the job fine, cost about ?5, leadropes are only a few quid and i buy them impulsivly. I got a glittery rope the other day actually, it's fantastic! good luck with your new horse, you must be so excited!
For rugs it depends if it is stable rugs or turnout rugs you are after or both. Turnout - Rambo and Amigo. Stable - Whetherbeera or Masta. I got a nice lightweight Masta stable rug for my gelding about a month ago.
