Question:

S-Video Tv-Out Cable Connector to RCA Plugs?

I have a 's-video tv-out cable connector that hooks to my laptop which has 4 female ports: Aduio digital output (SPDIF), Pr (red), Pb (blue), Y (green). Is there a way that I can buy a cord to hook to my 3 Female Ports on my tv: Yellow (video), L-R Audio (white/red) to this connector?

Answer:

relies upon lots on the known of your cables and your television, yet oftentimes the RCA cables supply you a greater effective, greater good image, there is far less room for noise to get in by using fact it does not have the enormous bandwidth that coaxial cable has. be sure you have good cables the two way, they do make a distinction.
Check with your Laptop manufacturer. They may have another s-connector that supports standard definition video output and standard RCA audio. However, standard-def of a PC output on any TV will look really bad, so I am not sure why you would want to do it in the first place.
The Pr, Pb, and Y connectors are high-definition video connectors. Video on these connectors is in high definition and will not work with a tv that isn't hd and doesn't have those inputs. You may be able to buy a box that converts hd video and digital audio into standard definition RCA connectors (Yellow, White, and Red)
