Question:

Safety of left luggage in London, UK?

I will be visiting the UK for a couple of weeks starting next weekend. I will be in London for part of my first day there (Sunday). I don't want to bring around my luggage while I sightsee (my hotel is not in London); I read about left luggage services, and I think the one in King's Cross station would be the best for me. My question is: are there any safety issues with my luggage I should be aware of? I will likely leave, in addition to my clothing, probably a laptop computer inside the luggage (the luggage itself will have a lock on it). Is it advisable to do this? I really don't want to have to carry around the laptop with me. Thanks in advance

Answer:

what kind of resin? and likely yes, as the ultimate source of many resins is oil.
There should be a carbon monoxide detector in every location where you currently have a smoke detector. Take that to mean whatever it needs to mean in your home.
