Question:

Scaffold Piercings Do they really Hurt?

I really want to get my Scaffold done, I've a very very low pain tolerance. i have my tongue done and cried a lil getting it done, and it bled quite alot. i cant stand if it takes too long for the piercing to be done, any one who's got it done plz tell me if it hurts and how its done??? x

Answer:

oooo i think it wud hurt quite abit so ask them to numb it 4 ya.
Well my Conch hurt like heck while the needle was going theough. It was an 8 on the pain scale. Plus you hear it. When he put the ring in, that really didn't hurt. A scaffold is that twice over. Totally worth it. I wish I could get a scaffold, but the design of my ears won't permit it.
Yes, of course it hurts. The piercings weren't too bad, like a 2 out of 10. I just had to hear the crunching sound and that was nasty! Putting the jewelry in was about a 5 out of 10. Well, it is two piercings so it does take longer than a single. Basically they pierce one side, and then the other. Then they slide the jewelry in. It takes about 3 minutes total from the time the first hole is pierced. If you're not sure if you can handle it, get a single cartiledge piercing on the ear that you DON'T want the scaffold on. It's really not that bad, although the healing is the worst as it is sore FOREVER. I got mine pierced on May 13th and it is still sore, I am just starting to sleep on that side of my head! I don't have the bar in anymore, so it's technically not a scaffold piercing, now I just have 2 14-guage cartiledge piercings!
