SCs: Is this a good time to revisit thoughts on Insolation of the home?

Isolation is not just for winter to keep the warmth in but also service to keep the heat out during these really hot days. And from the looks of it now, it is coming hereI am thinking about better inexpensive solutions on covering the windows either indoors with reflective draping material (we have insolated windows anyway) or some type of outdoor simple, inexpensive solutions so far, it has kept my air conditioning cost very low this year.

Answer:

There is a reason we wear body armor and face shields. At very close range the answer to your question is YES it hurts. It can leave whelps and bruises on you. Definitely get a full face shield. Motorcycle helmet will do if you cannot afford to buy one. You may want to wear long johns under your blue Jeans. A Flannel shirt will help also with a thick tee under it. Gloves would be nice as well. If you have no kind of protection available, I suggest you sit it out and watch to see what all goes on in an effort to prepare yourself for the next time.
It hurts very bad, esspecially on your face! Wear jeans and a long sleave shirt. A beanie might be a good idea too! Good luck, kick their buns!
It can hurt a lot but you get used to it. Most of the time I'm having too much fun to worry about the pain. You will get bruises though, I guarantee this.
Yes. Imagine somebody flicking you with their finger, only at immense speeds. Thats the closest comparison to the feeling. But the pain makes the games more tense, and enjoyable in my experience. If there's no consequence to making a bad decision, there's no tension and no payoff. Play with at least a face mask. If this is your first time, wear a few layers of clothing.
