Another hidden danger that most people dont realize is that default settings on a lot of programs like this one set it so that it shares all of your files. That leave any personal and confidential files on your computer open to being downloaded by someone.
LimeWire is a place where you can download music, documents, videos, softwares, and other things. LimeWire is free. LimeWire is easy to use. LimeWire doesnt take up much memory space. Safe? Based on my experiece, having a good anti-virus (like avast), will help you detect if what you are downloading contain viruses and other harmful bacterias ( ^_^ ) on the content that you are downloading. So far, since I know when to stop and delete the file that has a potential virus, limewire works out fine for me and my computer has no virus and other stuffs like that. (most viruses mostly found from files like sex videos, porn, cracked softwares/programs etc.)
In limewire you can download music, videos, and programs for free. It is free unless you want limewire pro which is like 20 dollars for the program then all the thigs you download is free and it's faster. I suggest frostwire though because it's like a free version of limewire pro. Sounds great, right? Yeah, well there are some cons. You have to be very careful. If you download the wrong file your pc is ******. I've crashed a pc with limewire before because i did not know how to distinguish a virus from the actual file I want. Also, if the police catch you downloading music illegally like you do on limewire then there can be some major penalties. Use at your own risk.
Lime wire is a program used to search for music, videos, pictures using the internet. If someone has limewire and they have what your looking for it takes it from their computer and copies it and sends it to you. Or something like that. Limewire is free if you take the basic one. Limewire PRO is not free. It is not safe because there are tons and lots of viruses on there if you're not aware of which things to download, but if you know whats what then it can be pretty safe. It's pretty simple to use, just Search and double click to download. It takes up a small amount of memory space but the amount of music you download might take alot of memory space. I use limewire to find downloads I can't find anywhere else. Hope that helped, I still use limewire even today
