I'm looking to Leave my change careers and sell Real Estate. Is is true about the earning potential?
NME, hi, in today's housing market i would not advise you to change your career and go into the Real Estate market right now. the housing market has fallen to an unprecedented low and will probably continue to fall. right now would be a very frustrating time for you to go into real estate. however, if the area you are thinking of working in is doing very well then it might prove profitable. if you're in California, right now is not a good time to sell real estate for a career. if you do, make sure you have something to fall back on.
Since selling a tangible item like real estate is always easier than selling an intangible item like insurance, I would go for real estate. As far as which one is a more lucrative business venture, it all depends on you and your sales abilities. Good luck with either choice.
I advise you not to leave your career to pursue Real Estate. Yes depending on your area earning potential can still be rather good however, in some areas its not a good time to invest. What you should try and is just test the water and maybe try to invest in a small property and see how you like the real estate business. You could also consider taking real estate courses and becoming a salesperson if you are looking to get into it.
Where do you live? Hopefully you're in a state that is not down on real estate. California for example is on the downside. I say go for it. I have a real estate license. I found a broker who will sponsor me. I am sure you can do the same. God Bless.
Hi NME, Career in real estate can be quite demanding. Your earning is unpredictable. Don't get into it if your only motivation is money. You have to be passionate about helping people because that is what it is all about . Do your research before switching careers.
