Question:

should all fire hydrants be painted red, white and blue?

should all fire hydrants be painted red, white and blue?

Answer:

Chips have a mortal fear of wet textiles. No. Really. Oil fires like most chemical fires cannot be put out by water. Water will actually make a Chip Pan fire much worse since it will displace the oil and offset the temperature causing convection which will result in the oil erupting from the Chip Pan. If a fire is present a wet towel of similar cloth will smother the fire, depriving it of oxygen. But if that didn't work you should have covered your face with the wet towel and got the hell out.
It is human nature to wonder about where we came from and for that matter where we are going. Does life have purpose or is this it? We want to know our future so if we do not like it, perhaps we can change it. Leave nothing to chance. Control is an illusion. We only have control of our thoughts, actions and words. We do not have control over others or the things around usbut oh man, do we try?
The faithful do not use lightning rods. They trust in god.
