Question:

Should electronics never be next to magnet materials?

I am going to buy this leather case with a magnetic cover to cover my mp3 player. Should i buy this? i‘ve heard magnetic materials never be next to electronics.

Answer:

I've never hear of an intense, static magnetic fields being a problem for electronics. You don't want magnets near magnetic storage disks however. You also don't want them near Cathode Ray tube TVs.
