Question:

Should I build a gaming pc 2011?

Im just wondering if i should build a 2500k gtx560ti gaming build now or wait for new cpu's from amd (bulldozer) or future ones from intel. Will the 2500k last me a while?

Answer:

i would wait for bulldozer if you can. ive found when new architectural cpus come out, its the best time to upgrade. i bought a core 2 duo, conroe 3 days after it was released, and i can still game alright with it and its 5 years old. so i would, in fact i am waiting for bulldozer before upgrading. not necessarily saying i will buy bulldozer, it depends on benchmarks and what intel does to counter. at the very least im expecting a price drop on i5 and i7s if not their ivy bridge
Umm why interior the blue hell could you opt for an i7 875K? The LGA 1156 platform is ineffective. And the i5-2500k (that's unlocked besides) is particularly swifter than the previous i7 875k. be conscious that the i7 875k won't artwork mutually with your chosen motherboard. in any different case your build seems sturdy. i could pass with a Corsair H60 cooler although, it will save the CPU cooler and it would not soak up as plenty area because of the fact the common third occasion air cooler.
Yes, the 2500k should last a while, but the Sandy Bridge processors (i5 2500k) should be a lot cheaper when the new Intel Cpu's come out. And, what I've found is that AMD video cards bring a lot more performance for a lot less cost. But, then again I would anticipate the new Cpu's from intel to be Amazing!
