I am soon going to buy a phone and I cannot decide between buying a windows phone or the iphone. If I do get the iphone, it will be unlocked to make it work in my area (HK). It should. I wouldn't recommend the HTC (not HDC) HD2 simply because it is running an unsupported operating system. Windows Mobile 6.5 can not be updated to Windows Phone 7. You would have to get the HD2's successor the HD7 to get WP7.
based on your requirement, iPhone will not be a good choice
Here you go: You want 3G, 5+ battery life, qwerty keyboard. Well.your not going to find that on the iPhone. Try the Lg Voyager form Verizon Wireless. It isn't Windows Mobile but it is a good phone. It has Navigator, TV, Web, Music, Movies, 2MP camera, MMS, video recorder and fantastic battery life. I get about 2 days worth compared to the iPhones 4- hours.
