Question:

should i do mice or insulators or?

for my science project im thinking of doing one of these projects:does music affect a mouses thinking(to do this one i would have two mice with no music (control) and then another two micethe second pair i would play classical music 24/7 in their cage for a weekthen i would have each mouse solve a maze to see if the music made them smarter.)which is a better insulator:foam, aluminum foil, rice krispie treats(i would get cans of soda and cover them in either rice krispie treats, aluminum foil, or those foam inslators for cansi would also have a control with nothing on itthen i would leave each can outside for 15-25 minthen i would take each sodas temperature and see which one is colder)What are the different methods of purfying water and how effective are they?or do you have any ideas?can you think of any cheap experiments about behaviors of birds? i have tons of wild birds by u housethere about 20 birds in my yard right now eating who know what!or maybe worms?

Answer:

I would not put paper in the oven because it's too riskyIt would dry out and could burnYou wouldn't want to risk injury or losing your home to fireDon't you have some aluminum pans? The best thing to do is to go out and buy a cookie sheetIt's useful in baking a lot of different foods.
You can get aluminum pans fairly cheap at the grocery stores or even the dollar storesI would not try wrapping foil around cardboardYou could always try turning your cake and pie tins upside down and use the bottoms to cook onYou might need to adjust the cooking timeIt will take longer but better than taking a chance and burning your house down.
For the bird experimentI notice that the wild birds in my yard steal dog food from the dog's bowlYou could put out dog food vsbird food and see which the birds preferredOr you could put out different bird seeds (you'd have to monitor pretty closely though)
