Question:

Should I get a manual transmission car?

I found a Saab 2000 Manual Transmission with 80k miles. I have never even turned a car with Manual Transmission on! However, I always wanted to learn to own, operate, drive one. Should I spend my money on this vehicle? Is it easy to learn? Any advice before I buy it? I also found a Saab 2003 Automatic but I don‘t know I want to try something new.

Answer:

Why bother with Saab's now?
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/avw9u well 1st of all what type of board do you have? do you have a street board that is built for grinding and what not OR do you have a long board and just cruise around the city? hard is great street boards. cause the grip is just right when it comes to doing tricks. using gel might cause you to grip more than expected. and you wont have that much umph/pop when you do tricks. Gel i believe is a bit better for cruising cause not only it will give you a smoother ride, it rides over mini pebbles and cracks with ease unlike hard urethane/polyurethane wheels.
for ollies and kickflips, u actually want big wheels. the size of the wheel you want is determined by what sk8ing you do. street skater should use bigger wheels, vert and park skaters should get a bit smaller wheels. i like a medium sized wheel because it works for everything. and if the wheel is soft it is probably because it is coated with polyurethane which is good. if u want to do well on ollies and kickflips id go with the big wheels, but it doesnt make a huge difference. the key is practice.peece out.
Don't buy it. Manual transmissions are almost extinct because the modern automatics don't have the problems they used to have. They now get mileage that's just about the same as manuals and shift very smoothly. Many cars and even trucks don't even come with manuals any more. Also, when you're ready to dispose of it you might have trouble finding someone to buy it.
Auto transmission car is easy to drive. But in manual transmission cars you can save lot of fuel. It is little difficult in the beginning to drive a manual transmission car. But after few days we get adapted to it. It is easy to learn. Only thing is, you should always be attentive to the speed of the vehicle.
