Im about to build my first gaming pc and im wondering which cpu to go with! Should I get the i5 2500k or wait for bulldozer. The i5 2500k is easily overclocked to 5Ghz and can be bought for ?155. Is it worth waiting 2 more months to see what amd can offer? There is speculation that bulldozer will be faster than sandybridge but will also carry a premium price.Thanks
Hell yeah! I purely offered and equipped my new gaming rig a month in the past with an i5 2500k in it and that i'm killing each and every interest available. those chips are very somewhat priced and on sale with mobo combination at places like Tigerdirect and Newegg. I rather have mine overclocked now with watercooling out of the field at 4.5 gig. No adventure in overclocking mandatory. So...UH...definite.
Bulldozer will NOT be faster than Sandy Bridge core per core. It may possibly surpass Gulftown Intel though
