I'm really in love with this spoken word poem by Zora Howard, and it goes perfectly with my school African American showcase. I want to perform it but I'm not sure if thats right, I would give her credit and say it was written and preformed by her. Is it okay for me to preform someone elses words though?
Recital and poetry are two different things- though it would be nice to have both the skills. So, yes, you can.
