I live in California and have a home built in the fortiesIt has some very dirty looking blown in insulation and it has varying degrees of height throughoutI started to remove old insulation as I wanted clean it up and add new R-38 battI am wondering if that is the best approachThe other concern is the varying degress of height of blown as I don't want to compress it.
