I have an offer of a front loader 7 kg washing machine for free. We presently use a top loader of 8.5 kg for a family of 5. Would the top loader be adequate for our family. We do washing daily even more.cheers
We switched from a top loader to a front loader and are still doing the same amount of laundry. the sales guy said we could more into a front loader but that is BS. The clothes seem to be in better shape washed in a front loader though. They don't agitate so the washer seems less hard on them. They also use less soap but the soap designed for front loaders is much more expensive( I think THAT is just a scam myself.)
you'll save on water usage and detergent but no of loads will be the same. your decision.
