should i shave my head and start growing my hair all over?

i am a GIRL, i want to shave my hair off and buy a wig and grow it out for about two years or until its long enough to not wear a wigbasicaly, i can not keep my hair healthy and i cant get rid of split endsi spent the last 4 years obsessing over straightening it everyday,and finally when i realize i want healthy natural hair, its HELL trying to grow it outi dont use any heat on it except when i use the diffuser when i scrunch itwhat should i do? since there is no way to get rid of dead hair except cutting it off.
