Question:

Should i trade my taurus model 94 .22lr for a walther p22?

Both are in 98% condition and work perfectlyMy taurus comes with a warrenty card, The box, 2 keys for the taurus lock system, And a manual The Walther comes with the gun in 3.4 inch form, Matte Black, with box, tools, Paperwork, 2 magazines, The grips, Sights, And a Laser I know it looks like im getting the good deal but I am worried about all the plastic on the WaltherMy Taurus has 50 rounds through it and is a tankAnd how many rounds will the p22 surviveAll that plastic and aluminum will cause hardship sooner or later, Right? In short, What should i do?

Answer:

If you want to spend more money on ammunition and are willing to put up with some jamming and other things that can go wrong, make the tradeThe 94 my wife uses is the 5 stainless versionShe has put a few thousand rounds through it and so I can say it is now broken itThis gun if forgiving and will even take the discount bulk stuff without a problemThe Walther suffers from being a semi-auto .22That means you can expect jammingYou should really take those down and apply moly to them to reduce the wearIf you are dead set on the Walther use CCI mini mags so your fun level is highThey do work wellI personally prefer the Sig MosquitoMine has several thousand rounds through it and is ready for many moreI do use moly on Semi-auto slides and triggers (HG-10 is the type)My suggestion is keep the Taurus and save up for the Semi-auto of your choiceWho knows you might find one out there better the 2 mentioned in this post.
