Question:

Should I use a visor or a facecage?

I'm just starting out intramural hockey at Ferris State University. I've been told by a couple guys who played last year to expect fighting an open ice checking. When I played at the Highschool level I used a facecage and hated it because it was hard to see out of and irritating. Do I really NEED the extra protection of a facecage or will it be okay to try a visor.

Answer:

The bell would ring, the fire department would arrive.
