i need to cover the door between the main floor and basement, there's a hollow wood door there now but we can hear most regular conversations (not to mention yelling screaming).i am thinking to use a solid styrofoam but someone said maybe i should use insulation batts.my budget is very low and i know the styrofoam is cheaper.
