Your local high school may have a shop class that has welding equipmentIf you can't actually take the class, maybe the teacher or a older student (with the teacher's approval) would help you Or You might contact a commercial outfit that does welding If you explain your project, you might find someone who likes go-karts and likes kids working on projects and might be willing to do this for you (be sure to talk to your parents first).
Steel is the most common material used for go kartsIt is much easier to weld and the tubing and other materials are easier to obtainAluminum is much harder to weld and takes extra skill.
