Question:

Should women be allowed to operate power machinery?

Like the dishwasher, washer, dryer, and vacuum? The dishwasher is all mine, I have to share the washer and dryer, but I'm not allowed to use the vacuum because I don't do it right.

Answer:

Alot of women are forced into power machinery that require 4 AAA batteries because their male counterparts dont, as you say, do it right!. ha.
Of course women are allowed to operate such machines. However, why not try to learn the proper way of using the vacuum cleaner. There's no harm in trying ok?
You haven't learned to pull the old 1970's Bill COsby in his stage act? If your spouse thinks your a total idiot around the stove, wsahing machine, etc., then you are sent out of the room to go watch TV or something, which is what you wanted in the first place. :-)
I don't consider these power machinery. They're just household appliances. Power machinery is a road grader or bulldozer. If you can't do it right, so what? Then you don't have to vacuum. Hooray! Does he do windows? It sounds to me like someone is obsessive/compulsive or a neatnik, so let it go. Are you able to dust to this person's satisfaction? I wish someone in my house would prevent me from using the vacuum because I don't do it right, or perhaps I can't clean the bathroom to his satisfaction. (Sigh).
well, every so often i am allowed to use the kitchen things, but mainly my man likes me to operate the feminine things like the chainsaw, air compressor and weed whacker. i guess it all depends on what turns you guys on, but it figures that he's always wanting me to use them when i have some nagging to do, he says that he can hear me better that way and he says yes dear after every sentence. he swears that the instruction manuals say that i gotta wear my low cut top and no bra, but it doesn't make any sense to me, because i never saw him read one.
