Should you switch sides if you only go over with one side?
I would call a repair man and have it fixed then send a copy of the bill to the landlord If he doesn't pay- sue him!! If you can't afford to fix it- then get an estimate for the repairs and send that to him(keep a copy for yourself). It is a landlords responsibility to maintain the property.
