How about going back to stock exhaust? You won't lose too much power and you can get one for $50. You would have to take off that exhaust system and weld a resonator on it, or sell it and get a quiter one.
How loud is the setup after all there is nothing better than listening to a nice engine.maybe it is just the setup you have best bet is to listen to other setups like on youtube and see what they have to find the balance between loud and free running. After all you dont want to lose power.I wonder how much a smaller muffler would help and or even a exhaust bung.My friend has also had a sports silencer fitted to his MK4 Supra which is free running but keeps the noise down. I think your best bet would be to go down to an exhaust shop and talk to a mechanic or technician. depending on where you live there should be quite a few of muffler or exhaust shops and they can set you up with something you like. often you can buy pre-owned exhaust systems and save yourself a couple bucks
They weld them. Even though you think it's not loud enough, it will never sound like a V8. It will just sound like a v6 farting real loud. It's a really nice car, don't junk it up with silly add ons.
