whenever i ride my skateboard its really rough and doesnt go far at all. Is this because of my wheels or bearings and i have tried to put like WD-40......
its your bearings. Check to see if the bearings are bent inside the wheel, because that can slow you down tremendously. Also sometimes if they are new they needed to be breaking down and used and the more you use the bearings the faster you will go.

wheels dont effect how smooth it rides unless they are damaged but since u put wd 40 on the barings u should probably get new ones bcuz if u didnt wash the barings and then put it on u could have molded dirt with the wd 40
It's your bearings. get new ones. WD-40 can be dangerous to your bearings if not used correctly. Wheels only affect...well no clue. I've had the same wheels for well over a year and i ride fine. bearings have a bigger affect on preformance.
its your bearings man you wheels might make it feel rough but not going any where fast is all your bearings you probably bent the ring around it or got dirt in in or something.Dont bother trying to fix them just get new ones trust me its not worth the time trying to fix they are still going to be bad.
