If you don't like skullcandy candy do not suggest others. I wanted to get one of these but I dont know which would be better.
Neither, because FASHION toys are fashion TOYS. Stop wasting your money on necklaces which have NOTHING to do with REAL audio equipment, instead choose from any of the following REPUTABLE manufacturers: Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers Wilkins, Bang Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica.
Two different headphones entirely. The Skullcrushers are basically a gaming headset for a regular music player or PC with a 1 note bass vibrator - you feel the headphones vibrate on your ears, but they lack sound quality. They are really a special purpose headphone. The Aviator (and Navigator) is actually a very credible headphone, which is a bit of surprise given that Skullcandy came onto the market as a fashion statement product as a marketing tool. My take is that Skullcandy was tired of not being taken seriously, and actually came out with a respectable headphone that is much better in fidelity than most of the music players that they will be plugged into. Be aware that the Aviator does not have a false boosted bass, and the retail price is inflated. I snagged a pair of Aviators dirt cheap due to a damaged cord, and was pleasantly surprised. I've heard and owned much better, but they are actually quite respectable. I also purchased 2 pair of Skullcrushers to make 2 into 1, and am glad I didn't spend much! Toys.. just toys.
