Question:

Smoke detectors randomly going off?

Hi there. The smoke detectors in my house have been randomly going off for the last couple of weeks. They will alternate between one or two beeps or go off for long stretches (5+ minutes). They are hard wired into my house. So when one goes off they all do. I have shut them off at the main breaker and changed the batteries and they still go off. What might cause this to happen?

Answer:

The door lock actuator (inside door) Door lock switch (on the door) Interior is dealer only. or
The fiberglass cloth will likely stretch once resin is applied. If you want to keep the shape then you will want to use a polyester fleece. You can get cloth to work but only if you don't stetch it out or if you have something to make it keeps it's shape. I would suggest polyester fleece, however, if you want a material that will keep it's shape once resin is applied. If the material needs to be strong add a couple of layers of fiberglass mat to strengthen the fleece. Good Luck!!!
