Question:

Soaked my baking pan with detergent & ammonia for 2 weeksThe nonstick layer peeled offIs it still usable?

I have a Wilton Recipe Right? baking pan, which is made of heavy-gauge steel has a nonstick coatingI used it to make ribs, which left this hardened blackened grease that I couldn't remove no matter how much scrubbing I didSo I soaked it with detergent, ammonia, water for about 2 weeksWhen I rinsed the baking pan, the shiny nonstick layer peeled offIs the baking pan still safe to use? Can I even use it at all if I don't line it with aluminium foil? Thanks.

Answer:

well they start out with getting a bunch of people and hammers and chisels then they go get some big rocks then stack um up
say whaaaat i find it hard to believe that aliens would be friendly towards mankind or wish to help our emerging civilization, so i'd bet that the pyramids are man-made, built over a period of decades by a work force of thousands
It was not aliensIt took hundreds of people, all carrying and stacking these huge stones on top of each otherThey used ropes and ramps to carry the stones to the top sometimesBut it was entirely done by peopleIt took like 20 years to build themThey were built as burial places for Egyptian PharaohsThey actually had a purposeWhy would aliens randomly build such a huge structure? It was done completely by humans.
I advise you not to because you never know what would happenGo buy a new one and next time try putting some water in it with some dish washing detergent or liquid soap and heat it on medium heat until you feel the grease loosened, and never leave the pan to dry after u cook something like ribs just directly put it under hot water and keep it in it until you wash itI hope this helps next time you make ribs ;) good luck!
