I STRONGLY believe in having a greener planet and I know for a fact that solar energy is a wonderful thing to take advantage of because, unless the sun falls out of the sky or burns out, we will always be able to run off of solar energy. I myself use solar panals at my home and they have saved us tremendous amounts of money. Even though you spend around $10,000 to get them installed (depending on the size of your house) you will get that money back in about a year. I know I did! Solar energy is important to the earth because if we stop using the energy it takes to power all of us, we will be a helthier, happier, more sufficiant planet, just becuase we aren't using all of the energy we were before. I personally saved around $20,000 in a year and I bought a new car with the money I svaed, I bought a hybrid of course but, anyway, why not use solar energy, it saves you money and saves the earth work.
I think solar and just about any other planet friendly sorce of energy is the way to go. The billions spent on oil and war for that matter could have put up enought solar arrays and windmills and so on that we probably wouldn't have to worry about paying upwards of 4$ a gallon right now. But alas I do not run the world.
