I have a 1998 Volvo 850 Sedan, I was thinking of replacing the car stereo, and all the speakers, does anyone happen to know the speaker sizes for the dash, front and rear seats and rear dash. And if brackets are needed? And do I just remove old speakers and just attach them to wires, and that for the car stereo do I have to replace a particular one or just a one that fits. And if u know how to remove the door cover please tell me too. Thanks.
THE SPEAKER SIZE THAT WILL FIT ON THE FRONT AND BACK DOORS AND REAR DECK IS 6 1/2. YOU PROBABLY WON'T NEED ANY BRACKETS SINCE MOST SPEAKERS COME WITH EXTRA TABS TO SCREW THEM IN. YOU COULD BUY A SPEAKER WIRE HARNESS FOR ABOUT $10 FOR THE PAIR WHEN CONNECTS STRAIGHT TO YOUR OLD SPEAKER WIRE OR YOU COULD CUT THE OLD SPEAKER WIRE HARNESS OFF AND BUY SOME WIRE ENDS AND CONNECT IT STRAIGHT TO THE SPEAKERS.
