Question:

Specification for ammonia flow meter installation

Specification for ammonia flow meter installation

Answer:

Requirements for piping:The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream pipes of the installation point of the flowmeter is the same as the inside diameter of the flowmeter.
Requirements for straight pipe sections:The flow meter must be installed horizontally on the pipe (the pipe is inclined to less than 50). When installed, the flowmeter shall be concentric with the axis of the pipe and flow in the same direction. The upstream pipe length of the flowmeter shall have equal diameter straight pipe section of not less than 2D. If the installation site is permitted, the upstream straight pipe section shall be 20D and the downstream shall be 5D.
Requirements for bypass tubes:In order to ensure that the flowmeter does not affect the normal use of the medium, the valve (cut-off valve) shall be installed on the front and rear of the flowmeter, and the bypass piping shall be installed. Flow control valve to be installed in the downstream of the flowmeter, flow meter upstream valve must be fully opened to avoid upstream flow of fluid instability.
Requirements for the external environment:Flow meter is best installed in the room, must be installed in the outdoor, we must adopt sun protection, rain protection, lightning protection measures, so as not to affect the service life.
