Question:

Speed issues on wireless repeaters

Speed issues on wireless repeaters

Answer:

If you want to expand the coverage, it is recommended not to use repeaters, buy two new wireless routers, set as main route WIFI name, the same as encryption, password, not the same frequency (1, 6, 11 recommended three completely nonoverlapping bands), close DHCP server (the main route have a DHCP server), the main route LAN port is connected with a new route LAN (not WAN). This will not cause interference or seamless roaming between the 3 routes, and the device will automatically switch the signal strong.
B is pure signal amplification, frequency band unchanged, so that is equivalent to the original signal to form an interference, the speed of course slow.
The work principle is different. The A model should be the received signal, which will be transmitted with a new name after processing. (the frequency band may also change). For the main route, the A is equivalent to a terminal (such as a computer or a cell phone).
