There are radio triggers with a second hot shoe on board, along with a PC sync socket. I have used all 3 at the same time, worked fine. Small hot shoe flash on the trigger, which is mounted in the hot shoe on the camera. Handle mount flash connected to the PC socket, also on the camera. And a second handle mount on a stand with the radio receiver.
