I usually like to prepare salads from whole vegetables, but those precut mixes in bags are handy.and goodSome of the ingredients aren't even always available on my supermarket shelvesSo.how does one keep them fresh in the refrigerator?
Make sure the salad mixture is dry and not wet as it's the wetness that causes it to turn brownOnce you dry it, put it in a ziploc bag specially for salads and veggies (they have tiny airholes in them) or place in an air tight containerI know if you want celery to stay fresh, just wash and clean and wrap in a paper towel and in aluminum foil.
If you want to live in the city, yes, it's going to be expensivebut you could live in equally as nice parts of NYC such as Queens or Brooklyn or Staten Island.I don't really like the Bronx too much.but whatever.that's just my opinionsbut yeahI wouldn't go try to live in Manhattan because you can live in other boroughs and always just take the train to wherever it is you need to goReal estate is expensive anywhere you goinside or outside of NYbut you can find loopholes around it and find places that are not insanely expensiveAs far as finding a job herepshgood luckYou're gonna need to look in the city to find any place that would hire youIt's so hard to find a job around here.trust me, I know-- Anyway.good luck!
