Question:

Surgeons & Surgical Tech's a queastion about Safety googles.?

Any recommendations as far as what type of safety goggles I should purchase? Anyone know the name of the Goggles they use on Greys anatomy??

Answer:

If it is over say 5 years old it may be bad. It may be worth using the dust spray (canned air) like they use on computers as most vacuums don't have all that much suction. I can't see the inside so I can't judge if it will help. Just make sure you take off the top to clean it. Some use an optical system and may have a replaceable bulb. There is sometimes a spare bulb in them. If you have to replace it you need to dispose of it in a responsible manner as most smoke alarms have some low level radioactive material in them. They are not suppose to just go in the trash. If you get a new one Id get one with a battery backup the are more trouble but if you lose power you will still have a smoke alarm for when you light your fireplace etc
The best thing is that it will succumb to its demise in a microwave oven.
It sounds like the Subaru Legacy wagon would be a great car for you, with it's full-time four-wheel drive, and lots of space for shopping. Not outrageously great fuel mileage, but better than a big SUV. My second choice would be a Ford Escape Hybrid. Better fuel mileage than a Subaru, but not as stylish.
