I can't tell you about the phones. I can tell that I've had really bad reception and customer service issues with them.
I have had the blackberry pearl for 8 month already and I like it a lot. The only thing that it does not have and I would really like that it did is video recorder other than that it is great. The reception is really good, the camera takes good pictures, and it does not have to be charged that often. I charge mine every other day so over all it is a great phone.
