so im building a tank style vehicle with two treads, it must carry ~300lbs and will need to be non metal. all i can think of is wood....the links should be replaceable too. if you could give me a source with tread types that would be awesome cause i couldn't find one. thanks in advance.
what about rubber treads, as used on small excavators etc
I agree with rubber, but keep in mind that rubber includes steel belting (like tires) to internally support the rubber from breaking up...this may not fit your non-metal specifications...
