Depends on regulations in your area. Check them out. May be a good idea for you to get them even if not required by law. But you can have them without telling, and ask for them so as to reduce cost of renter's insurance. Fire safety is the renter's responsibility, and other than an extinguisher in the hallway near a kitchen, or near a door in a room with a fireplace, I don't think it's mandatory unless it's a multiple unit residence.
Is there any way to contact an attorney about abuse in a care facility? There must be some way to find out if he can legally video what is happening. Are you aware of where to go to report the abuses that are taking place? Social services? A state run program that licenses this facility? This MUST stop. It is degrading to these men to be treated this way; it doesn't matter how long a man has been in that job, if he is being cruel and abusive, it has been too long! If these men are out of a home, they will be placed somewhere else..there are some good homes, and some that should not be open. I am grateful to read that your husband, one man, find this treatment appalling and has gone to the house manager. Keep a written record of when he spoke to her and a general written log of what was said, in case he needs it in the future. If this house manager knows and accepts this behavior, she may also be part of the problem. I hope your husband continues to work toward an end of this treatment. God bless him. Doris
Snow cables.very inexpensive.
Old fashioned bikes with weak engines to begin with like the Harley and other air cooled vtwins have a lot of room for improvement if you want to sink big money into them. Modern bikes have all the tech on them straight from the factory, not much you can do that will have much impact that won't also ruin the engine.
