CO poisoning is a big worry. I had it once (industrial accident 30 years ago) and it was absolutely miserable. I'm lucky to be alive but you couldn't have convinced me I was lucky at the time. I didn't even know it was happening because the first thing CO does is take away your mental edge. Worse, long term exposure to CO causes brain damage. It all makes a real exhaust system sound cheap, whatever the price.
