The new carpet smells great. How do you clean it?
Gently move the broom back and forth until all the baking soda goes into the carpet fiber. Stay a few hours, possibly the best overnight.
After replacing the new carpet, first open the window to make sure the room is ventilated.Open a bottle of baking soda and spread a thin layer over the carpet. Then carefully sweep the baking soda into the carpet fiber with a broom.
Remove the baking soda from the new carpet with a vacuum cleaner. Finally empty the vacuum cleaner's garbage can.If it still tastes good, you can reuse baking soda several times. If you can't find any sodium bicarbonate, you can also use white vinegar instead.
