hi guys,i am going to write research paper about how people are using plastic bags like crazy and how that is so bad for the environment...can you guys give me some suggestion on why the usage of plastic bag is bad and if you can think of any, why is it good?and why people use plastic for many stuffs, like plastic bag, water bottle, some household furnitures... is it because its easy to use to make it, or because it is cheap?its 7 pages paper... so please give me as much ideas as possible. and please tell me ANYTHING you know about plastic and personal experience with plastic if you have any...thank you so so much! -have a wonderful day!
I personally prefer plastic to paper, unless the paper is recycled. The trees are losing their brothers and sisters. Plastic is better in some ways because it can be re-used over and over. But it doesn't biodegrade for several years, so we are stuck with it piling up in the landfills. Recycled paper is the best in other ways, because far less trees are sacrificed.
1) Quite a bit. 2) I do not use water in plastic bottles unless it is an emergency. I have my own re-usable water bottles which I fill at home through my filtration system. I care very much and am avid about recycling. I buy products made from recycled plastic water bottles. Not only the water bottle issue, but we recycle everything. We don't own a garbage can.
i work for a plastic recycling plant we get all kinds of plastics from car facias to plastic bags. but a lot of platic is throw away amd cant be processed because it has other naterials like foam or paper stuck to it and its to costly to seperate them. plastics bags if recyled can be good but things like bottles wrapped in paper labels are not
