Thermocouple Question (10 Points)?

I am a little confused. Let say I have sheet of IRON and a sheet of COPPER.They are curved and connected at the end ---gt; () .like thisOne sheet is hot and one is cold. Will their be a potential difference/voltage createdat the two points? Please explain briefly. Also, does a thermopile generate more electricity than athermocouple?10 points could be yours!thanks

Answer:

The two junctions should have different temperature FOR THE COUPLE TO WORK NOT TWO SHEETS,
That depends on the ambient temperature.
