if a room is burning and there are two exits, a window near u and a far door, and u r getting low on air, and u only have a blanket and 1 litre of water, and the door is about 90 sec far running. what would u do????
If you are on the first floor, I would go the way that would get me out fastest. If the window is on the 2nd or higher floor, I would go for the door, but follow these rules: When a fire occurs, do not waste any time saving property. Take the safest exit route, but if you must escape through smoke, remember to crawl low, under the smoke and keep your mouth covered. The smoke contains toxic gases which can disorient you or, at worst, overcome you. Never Open Doors That Are Hot To The Touch When you come to a closed door, use the back of your hand to feel the top of the door, the doorknob, and the crack between the door and door frame to make sure that fire is not on the other side. If it feels hot, use your secondary escape route. Even if the door feels cool, open it carefully. Brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. If heat and smoke come in, slam the door and make sure it is securely closed, then use your alternate escape route.
Be careful what iron supplement that you choose because some of them cause constipation. There is one called slow fe that doesn't. Eat food that are rich in iron like nuts, leafy green vegetables, liver, beans, whole wheat bread, cream of wheat, blackstrap molasses, grapes and raisins are a few iron rich foods. Drinking orange juice will help the body absorb your iron supplement.
you can always take a supplement but the best way to increase your iron is by changing your diet. eat alot of fruits and veggies (the darker in color, the better). Red meat also has alot of iron. especially liver. Bon Appetit :)
How far is the window? How high is the building (the window to ground distance)? Is the door an exit from the room or the building? If the door leads in to other rooms is the rest of the building on fire? Why am I in a room that is so big? 90 second run almost 1/4 of a mile (1/2 km)
1) wet the blanket 2) throw it over me 3) Break the window which wil draw the fire to it. 4) Stoop over and run as fast as I can to the door.
