Question:

Thinking of moving to Dubai?

We are an upper middle class Indian family living in the US for the past 12 years and now planning to move to DubaiMy daughter is very scared of lizards (even though she loves most of the pets we have in our neighbrhood!) Can someone tell me more about the lizard situation in Dubai?as in generally around the house, the building, elevators etc or while walking on the streets shoppping, beaches and likesIs it the same for anywhere we choose to live or is it differenet at diffreent places? Like technically, even US is supposed to have lizards but in the past 12 years I have not even seen one, so I really wanna know how it is for people living there and not what the internet says about the region as such. Also, I would love to know what is a good neighborhood for Indians w.r.tgood schools, vegetarian food, nice community amenities etcAny other helpful info would be appreciatedThanks!

Answer:

just make sure its not on the toast setting, most toaster ovens have an oven setting, so 400, like the other commentor said sounds about right, just line your pan with foil and keep an eye on it, if its just a boneless chicken breast about 35 mins or so just check it and make sure it's cooked all the way through.
i'll say 400 degree and about 25 minutes
400 degress for at least like 30-40 minutes i say
If it's boned, the best thing to do with toaster oven is set it at 350 or 375 400 is too hotCook for 35 minutes and then flip it to broil for the last 10 minsThis way it stays moist but you get a nice golden skin on it In fact, I usually remove it while pre-heating for the broil and add spices or a bit of oil to help with the browningIf it's boneless, I personally don't use toaster (or any) oven.
There are hardly any lizards in UAE unless you are talking about geckos , they appear near trees or where they can catch flies , not normally inside houses or apartmentsIf you've lived in US for 12 years then you probably already saw more than you would ever see in UAE , as some Americans keep them as pets In UAE people rather call pest control when they see oneThey also sell some device you plug in AC outlet and it emits an ultrasonic sound that keeps pests , mice, lizards awayAlso Arabic oud incense (smoke of Agar wood frankincense) combination works, the pests ( odors) disappear from any room you have it in.
